Life at high altitude

All over our continents we can be witness to such a great range of different landscapes: either snowy, rocky, steep or wooded slopes. On every hillside or nested in passes, you’ll often find pretty little villages, towns even sometimes.
Today we meet Nepaleses who live in the  Langtang Valley.

There is no road to reach these villages. Food, supplies, tools and medicine must be carried up on the back of porters. The rough climate makes agriculture almost impossible so they rely on livestock for dairies and fabric.

Discover the video of  “Wish you could’ve seen this”  Nepaleses who produce some cheese of Yak for the neighbouring villages but also for the tourists traverlers.
