Moroccan road trip by Julien L. Balmer

The Swiss photographer Julien L. Balmer immerses us into the Moroccan culture with his recent road trip to the ancient city of Fès, in Northern Morocco. A few days break as captivating as enchanting!
Based in Zurich, Julien L. Balmer is a self-taught professional photographer specializing in travel photography, lifestyle and portrait. It’s the desire to discover Morocco and its culture that led him to travel to Fez, to visit the Medina and the surrounding countryside.
In an interview for Ignant, he expresses his feeling: “primarily known for its massive Medina – a labyrinth of winding paths and one of the largest car-free zones in the world – Fès is more than only the old city so many people come for“.

A very particular atmosphere that he perfectly transcribes with his photos. By the way, for more images of this Moroccan road trip, have a look on Julien’s website: www.visualspectrum.ch.
