Mountains people

All over our continents we can be witness to such a great range of different landscapes: either snowy, rocky, steep or wooded slopes. On every hillside or nested in passes, you’ll often find pretty little villages, towns even sometimes.

Their dwellers got used to the hard climate conditions and also to living in remote places.
The portfolios presented ins the last Hiking on the Moon magazine #8, special mountain life are dedicated to these mountain populations. Thanks to François Guion, Quechua photographer, and Maude Ramaen, Retail Supplier at Quechua, you’ll have the opportunity to discover these high perched populations, their warm and colourful cultures.
