Artist Portrait: Pierre Ancel
Pierre Ancel, our artist of the week, has something in common with Quechua and Hiking on the Moon since he is borned in the heart of the mountains and grew up at the foot of the Mont-Blanc!
This young amateur photographer is fascinated by photography since his childhood. With a grandfather photographer, he quickly get his first camera. Then, his passion for photography has grown through the beautiful landscapes that surrounded him and the desire to immortalize them. Today, for Pierre, it does not happen a hike or a back country skiing tour without his camera to freeze every moment, color, emotion, movement or face.
For Pierre, “shooting landscapes is the most pleasant thing. The landscape is fixed, so you can take your time. The mountain is still changing with the seasons so we will never get bored.”
On our side, we never get bored of watching his photos, available on his website: pierreancel.wordpress.com !
