Artist Portrait: Théo Giacometti
For this Thursday dedicated to the discovery of an artist and his story, the Hiking on the Moon’s team walks into the footsteps of the talented Théo Giacometti.
As many mountain lovers, this young man of 25 fell in love with nature when he was a child, thanks to a father mountain guide. Currently living in the Ubaye Valley (France – Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), he enjoys every season to discover unknown wild places, which is a source of unique and strong feelings.
His photographic approach combines personal and artistic process. Showing the loneliness of mountains and forests inspire him the most.
Our man has a way with words, so he completes his pictures with words. Théo Giacometti was also awarded by the French National Assembly for his novel “Puisque chante la nuit”, published in 2013. Until the publication of his coming book, “Demande à ton ombre ” in the early 2015, let’s have a look at its website and its facebook page.
