On the roads, with Andy Lee

“There was nowhere to go but everywhere”: it’s with this famous quotation of Jack Kerouac, that the photographer Andy Lee starts his series of photos called “roads”. From his solo trips, he’s back with hypnotic images, sometimes sinister, of the most beautiful roads taken.

The Lake District in England, Snaelfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland, and the Hebrides in Scotland appear in their darkest suits, for all that, the invite us to travel. With his pictures, Andy Lee share the emotions he felt on the roads.
