Supporting Nepal, alongside Dawa Sherpa
Quechua is supporting his heart partner Dawa Sherpa, who saw Nepal, his homeland country, devastated by a terrible earthquake last Saturday. Today, through his association “Parrains & Marraines pour le Népal” he is inviting donations to send staple products to the people living in the isolated villages of the Solukumbu Valley.
Here is Dawa’s message:
“If we don’t know yet the exact damages, this earthquake is for sure one of the most devastating and deadliest that Nepal has ever seen.
The “Parrains & Marraines for the Nepal“ association is working to respond to the needs of people in the remote villages in the Solukumbu Valley. We already know that the villages of Chhulemo, Taksindu and many others have suffered from very serious damage, forcing people to take refuge outside. Paths were also seriously damaged, making the access to theses places very difficult, or even impossible.
Needs are equal to the disaster that has struck my the native region.
